Damon:
It doesn’t seem possible it has already been 57 months since project start, but here we are today and the project is almost complete.
If the wells cited do not rebound, it sounds like project will be completed by end of this calendar year.
Thank you for keeping us well-posted on the results. This is awesome news!

Subject: Monthly update for Sellers Auto / Artist Studio petroleum cleanup site 489201547 / 489201548 (special update – update #57)
July 27, 2011
Ms. Mills,
I would like to take this opportunity to give you our fifty-seventh monthly update on the project. I will follow up with a more thorough update later, but this one is just a brief one to let you know that we have finally reached cleanup target levels for every monitoring well sampled at the end of June, 2011.
Report Status
The Year Four Quarter Four report is due on August 12, 2011 (this date was extended from a July due date). This one will include a milestone evaluation and a professional recommendation for the next course of action. We are funded to run the system an additional three months to make sure that there is not a rebound in concentrations. I think we may be able to turn the system off and enter Post Active Monitoring by sometime in September 2011. I’ll follow up in the August update with more detail on this.
Milestone Update:
All of the wells sampled in the comprehensive annual sampling event at the end of June: AW-2, AW-5A, AW-6R, AW-10, AW-15, AW-18, AW-22, AW-24, AW-26, AW-27, AW-28, AW-30, DW-11, MW-5 and MW-9 are below Groundwater Cleanup Target Levels. Attached is a PDF table of the lab results that I received today.
From the above wells I note that AW-28, DW-11 and MW-9 each had concentrations above cleanup target levels at the end of March and this is the first quarter that these three wells are clean. In the next sampling event we’ll need to see that these remain below cleanup levels for a second quarter. We’ll also need to see that AW-10 and MW-5 do not rebound. However, the late June sampling event is the second consecutive clean quarter for these two wells.
I am out of the office July 28th through August 1st, but I will return on Tuesday August 2nd. I will follow up with an update very soon after August 2nd with more details. Please feel free to call me anytime if you need additional information or have any questions.
