Subject: Monthly update for Sellers Auto / Artist Studio petroleum cleanup site 489201547 / 489201548 (Sixteenth update- February 1, 2008)Date: Fri, 1 Feb 2008 11:45:34 -0500From: Damon.Taylor@ocfl.netTo: firstname.lastname@example.orgCC: Carlos.Gonzalez2@ocfl.net; Renee.Parker@ocfl.net; JRWebster@r-kidproperties.com; email@example.com; firstname.lastname@example.orgMs. Mills,I would like to take this opportunity to give you our Sixteenth monthly update on the project. The startup occurred in late February 2007, so we are approaching the one year mark of our scheduled 4-year cleanup schedule. The site has been down for about two months while a change in contractor was being handled administratively. Terramax is no longer the contractor and the new contractor designated by the property owner is Argus Consulting based out of Missouri. Mr. Horton, formerly of Terramax will continue to manage the cleanup now under a new consulting company, Argus Consulting. The new work order was approved and is fully authorized to continue the remediation through most of 2008. Report Status:Currently there are no new reports are in house for review, but Terramax (the former contractor) will need to respond to recently sent comment letters. Mr. Horton stated that he would do this for his former employer, Terramax. Then next report due to the county are as follows:1) Operational report to cover the system in period of the beginning of February through the end of April – due on July 1, 2008. I believe Argus will be able to submit that report significantly before that date though. 2) Operational report to cover the system in period of the beginning of May through the end of July – due on October 2, 2008. I believe Argus will be able to submit that report significantly earlier as well. 3) Operational report to cover the system in period of the beginning of August through the end of October – due on December 31, 2008. I believe Argus will be able to submit that report significantly earlier as well. A cost proposal to continue the system operation is going to be negotiated in early October for the next fiscal year.General System Status since Startup in February 2007:There is no new information regarding the system status and performance efficiency since our last update because the system has not run or been sampled since before then.Milestone Update:There is no new information regarding the milestones either for the same reason stated above. Schedule:Argus will be onsite restarting the system under the new FDEP contract tomorrow, Saturday February 2nd. Orange County will join Argus on Monday morning (February 4th at about 9am) to see the system status and verify operational status. Because this update is brief, I will update you again before the end of next week to let you know how the startup goes over the weekend. Please feel free to call me anytime if you need additional information or if you would like me to find something in our files.
